Fabric Needs
  • (Additional yardage may be required for directional prints or if you'll be making your own bias tape)
  • Exterior - 1/2 yard 
  • Lining - 3/4 yard
  • Contrast - 1/3 yard (cut with a 40-44" width, for strap, welts & front/back bands)
  • Fusible Interfacing - (please choose a fusible cotton woven interfacing often available in varying widths. Below are two examples both of which are available on our website.
    •  1.5 yard Plantional Heavyweight (16" wide),  OR  1 yard Fashion Fuse by Bosal (20" wide)
  • Foam Stabilizer- one 19" X 21" piece (we recommend Soft & Stable By Annie)
  • Fusible Fleece- two 4" X 7" pieces
Notions & other Supplies Needed
  • 3 each - 10" (or longer) closed bottom zipper (use #5 nylon zippers, 1 1/4" wide w/non-locking pulls)
  • 2 each -  3/4" wide sew-in invisible magnetic snap
  • 2 each - 5/8" wide D-rings
  • 1 each - 1" wide slide buckle
  • 2 each - 1" wide swivel snap hooks
  • 1 each - twist-lock closure (ours was 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/16" tall, but other sizes could work also)
  • 51 inches - 1" wide lightweight nylon webbing
  • 16 inches- 1 3/8" wide bias tape (we recommend making your own)
