One of things I love best about designing patterns is to see the amazing things out customers create using our patterns! As a matter of fact, there’s not much I like better than opening up an email that includes a picture or two of a customer-made bag! And here’s the deal, this month’s selection of bags is particularly diverse and I think you’re really going to enjoy them!
So…let me show you!
Here’s another Sling Along by Toni Fox-Cole! It seems that every bag she makes just get more and more beautiful & this one is no exception. Toni made this Sling Along for her “sister from another mother” who will soon be taking it on an upcoming cruise! And if ever there was a perfect “Springtime” bag this Bella BiFold by Jan Strickler would have to be it! The fabrications are all so reminiscent of the colors we see outside right now! How fun it would be to carry it! 🙂This amazing Gemini FlightBag was created by one of our favorite “sewing dudes”, Don Distler, and it seems to be a total departure from his usual fare! Don said that he embroidered both the front and back of this bag with a mylar design from Purelygates.com & I have to say I’m SO impressed with Don’s usage of plastic zippers which I have always struggled with!I first spied Elaine Comer‘s paisley Everyday Attache on Instagram and was instantly attracted to it! She has since joined us in our FaceBook Sewing Group and we look forward to seeing many more fun creations from Elaine!
And here we have one more example of how wonderful Tula Pink‘s fabric looks on our bags! Jenn Kirby created this Sling Along for a friend who fell in love with it on sight! (And who could blame her!)
Deb Piereman said that this ErgoMatic is her very first StudioKat Designs bag but she added that it certainly will not be her last. She loves this bag and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! 🙂
And here’s a fun story. Maureen Obuch said she made her granddaughter an Everyday Attache 2 years ago and she recently found out that she’s STILL carrying it 2 years later and says that its a “perfect bag”! So how could she help but make her another, which promptly turned into TWO! It’s fun being a gramma isn’t it?!
I met Judy Huckleberry at the recent AQS Paducah show where she showed me the Walkabout Wallet she was carrying! I was so impressed with it that she later send me this picture of the two Wrapsody‘s she created!
And now, it’s YOUR turn!
Which one of these beauties caught your eye initially? And which one made you want to know more? And remember, we love reading your comments and answering your questions too, so please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
