PPC36: Remembering Laurel Burch
So... in our last post, I told you that we had sent this pattern out to our testers & that we were winding down toward the eventual publication of this new pattern, the Cargo Strap!
But in the meantime I've got one more sample to show you before we make that all important decision as to which one will actually grace the pattern cover!
And not only does this design work up F-A-S-T, but there's really very little "focal" fabric needed, (only a 9" X 16" piece), so I've really enjoyed going back into my stash & pulling out small pieces of some old favorites... in this case a very old Laurel Burch metallic! (Can anyone remember it's name?)
Here's a couple of good shots of the Pouches in place on the cargo Sash. I love how these gold metallic zips set off the metallic highlights of this amazing fabric!
Here's a couple of interior pictures of the Mega Pouch. (above left)- there's a 3-slot credit card Caddy inside... AND... in this picture, (above right)- you can see how my Samsung 24+ fits with a little rooom to spare!
This design can be worn alone, because the Mega Pouch, (above left), can easily house ANY smart phone on the Market today.
if you prefer, (above center), you can just clip your cellphone to the snap hooks at the bottom of the Strap for ultimate ease of access... OR...
you can clip virtually any bag you've made or bought (above right, which has rings at the top corners), to the bottom Strap snap hooks for "hands freedom", PLUS...maximum storage possibility! (bag pattern not included)
And now.... it's YOUR turn!
It won't be long now before this new design is released! but does this seem like a design you'd enjoy making or carrying?
And if you have comments you'd like to share, suggestions you'd like to make, or questions you'd like to ask about this design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
