And now…
it’s time for my favorite post from International Quilt Market & Festival because now I get to show you the quilts that are MY personal favorites from the 2019 exhibition! But first I want to emphasize that I am no expert on quilting. As a matter of fact, I’m really not even a quilter myself having only taken two to full completion, so I’m far from qualified to be a judge! But here’s the thing… I AM a fan and a longtime admirer of excellent quilting and I know what I like, so what you’ll see below simply represents MY personal taste so I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did! 🙂

That ‘Blau de Colors’ is amazing! In the photo, it looks so three dimensional and like a light is shining from it. Does it give that strong an impression when you see it for real or does the two dimensional photo enhance that?
I agree. The effect was even more dramatic in person! I loved it! 🙂
Caryl Bryer-Fallert-Gentry always has something wonderful and spectacular. I so love her work. Quilt shows are a delight to the eye and a place of inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
I totally agree on both counts Evelyn!
