Eye Candy Showcase

So… it’s that time again!
It’s time to let the skills of our customers shine in the March ’24 Eye Candy Showcase! I SO love seeing the unique & creative bags our customers create using our patterns & this month’s lineup is really inspiring!
So what are we waiting for? Let’s get started!

This yummy Quattro was created by Carol Lawson who
says it’s one of her all-time favorite designs! I love her
knack for fabric combination! Great job Carol!

And Virginia Barbaro created two of our bags, the first of which was an Elsie K Baglet (pictured above), and she used leather for the exterior and added a twist lock for additional security.

And after her Elsie K Baglet (above) worked out so well in leather, Virginia decided to try her hand with our Katalina design, also in leather, but said she had a really difficult time turning her her bag RSO. I actually had a similar problem using vinyl in an earlier design and that when I discovered that not ALL leathers & vinyls are suitable for use in bag patterns. Nevertheless… her bag turned out absolutely gorgeous, right? 🙂

This is Pat Evans‘ 1st attempt at our Double Take design.
She really liked how it turned out and the overall concept was perfect,
but she wished it was just a tad bigger!

And Veronica Frolich is clearly a lover of “all thing cats”,
and these fabrics sure look great on our Cosmo Convertible design!

And I couldn’t help but include all FIVE of the pictures that
Elaine Comer sent me of her Elsie K Baglet!

because look how totally incredible her bag turned out! Elaine said she struggled just a bit with the interior bias binding, but you sure can’t tell it by these photos… right! It’s just gorgeous! Nevertheless, I always recommend checking out our “Bias Tape Video series“

And remember Pat Evans, and her desire to create a larger-sized Double Take?
Here’s the result of her effort to do so, and while I rarely recommend that my customers attempt to change the dimensions of our designs, I have to say that it turned out beautifully for Pat!

and finally… here’s Rachel Anaya‘s very 1st Walkabout Wallet! I love the bold fabric she chose for her exterior, and also for the amazing coordinating fabric she chose for the interior!
