PPC20: Dragonflies

So…

in our last post I showed you yet another of the bag samples that have the potential to wind up on the cover of this new pattern but I still had just a few minor tweaks to make on the design.

First off, you might notice that I used our brand new gold zippers for this bag and don’t they look FANTASTIC with this fabric? And I stuck with this narrower Gate Ring size for this bag and I like this look much better.
Here’s a look at the back side of this bag where there’s a generously sized zippered pocket, and you can also get a good look at the top clip links too. And of course we’re recommending that Gate Rings be used here because they can easily be opened and then clipped into the Side Links if you’re interested in carrying your bag as a hip bag.
of course the Secret Niche area is a favorite feature we love to include in our bags. It’s a super place to store your phone, sunglasses, car keys or anything else you’d like to have quick access to and of course this area is secured by two pairs of our invisible sew-in magnets!

The other adjustment I made to the design of this bag is probably most noticeable in these two pictures. That would be the location of the Side Links which I moved them up along the side edge of the bag about 3/4″. This balances the weight of the bag a good deal better and I think it also presents better while being worn as a hip bag.

This gorgeous dragonfly-adorned fabric is truly elegant and I loved working with it! It’s called “Fly by Night” and its by Chong A-Hwang for Timeless Treasures. Inquire about it at your LQS or google that info to locate some.

    I like number 3 and 35 They are , they look almost aike but I really prefer #3
    I hope they have a lot of room in them.
