Turning Toward Houston ’23

So… it’s the time of year, when all we’re thinking about is planning for, and packing for, and getting ready for the International Quilt Market and the InternationaL Quilt Festival in Houston, TX! And this year is NO exception!

And this year, I’m pleased to let you know that we’ll be located as usual on the 1st row for both the Market AND Festival in Booth #110, & here’s the deal… for some reason, which has yet to be revealed to us, the layout for both of these shows has been reversed… that’s to say that when you enter the GRB this year (as seen above), the amazing Quilt Displays will be located on your far left, followed by all of the vendors in the center, (starting with booth #100 & proceeding thru Booth #1654), followed by the Food Court at far right!

So… here’s what we’ll be introducing at these 2 shows for the first time!

This year we released two new patterns, neither of which has been introduced
at either of these two shows. So at these shows we’ll be highlighting
the Double Take (at left) & the Easy Go Wallet (at right) here!

And in May we introduced a brand new zipper style with a multi-color, metallic-like tape with multi-colored zipper teeth and so far these zips haven’t made it to a show floor!

That’ll all change in Houston and we can’t wait to show them to you!

And I’ve been telling myself that I needed to take the time to make a new show sample for our Guardian design, and it’s been one of those things that I’ve never been able to make time for!

But when I got this fabric in stock, I immediately felt inspired to get this done and I’m more than happy with the result! Come by our booth in Houston to see this sample make her Quilt Show debut!

And finally… in a Quilt Festival first… if you come to our booth wearing a bag they made from one of our patterns, and allow us to take a picture of it to be used on social media, they you will be rewarded with 10% off your entire purchase!

So in conclusion, we are so looking forward to getting to Houston to introduce these new products and to also meet and mingle with as many of you as are able to come to these two shows! The International Quilt Festival is undeniably the Quilt Show of ALL Quilt Shows and is probably on most show attendee’s bucket lists and this would be a great year to check this off your list!

      Thanks Judy. And I will miss seeing you. But did you know that we now have an Australian distributor? Victorian Textiles is now distributing our pattern in Australia and New Zealand but only to retailers like you. Please feel free to buy from them and save yourself what I’m sure will be tremendous amount in shipping from the US!
