PPC29: Cleo

So….

Some important things about our soon-to-be new pattern have happened this week…

  • First– we finished a 5th sample of this new design which you can see at left! I really like this fabric line and I’ll tell you more about it along with a link to where you can purchase HERE on our website at the end of this post.
  • Second– we sent out the testing packages for this new design to our exceptional team of pattern testers, so that ought to give you a clue that we’re coming to the end of this cycle of “Purse Pattern Chronicles”.
  • And Third– We FINALLY have decided upon a name for this pattern. (We’ll reveal it at the end of this post! )

So with that… let me introduce this next new sample!

At left- is a photo if the wallet itself, which is designed to primarily be a thin-profile wallet.
It’s sized so it will fit into MOST everyday bags on the market today.

At right- we’ve included an option in this pattern to add little tiny D-rings so that one can optionally attach a shoulder or cross-body strap to carry it like a very small bag into a sporting or entertainment event.

Here’s a few interior views of this wallet-
The features we’ve included are:
a zippered coin purse, eight card holder slots, a slot for paper money, a passport holder slot,
PLUS… there’s room for a pen, a check register, and reading glasses OR a cell phone!

At left: This is a photo of the Wallet Back with an optional wristlet attached.
At right: A photo of the Wallet Front w/a deep slot pocket for quick storage of receipts, tickets, boarding passes & more!

And finally…

here’s a final view of our slim profile wallet with both of our optional carrying options in place… a Wristlet Strap and a Shoulder Strap.

And now… a few words about this fabric

I fell in love with this fabric from the moment I saw it for several reasons…

  • there’s cats! in particular, a few tuxedo cats!
  • there’s gold metallic highlights
  • the whole collection is gorgeous & mixes together so well
  • and there’s not an obvious repeat so its REALLY easy to use !

And here’s the deal– we’ve added this fun fabric to our website and you can add some to your curated collection by clicking HERE!

And here’s some additional info you might be interested in….

  • Wallet size= 7 3/4″ wide X 5″ tall X 1″
  • the projected release date- August 2023
  • AND… the name of this new pattern design will be…
  • the “Easy Go Wallet”!

And just so you know— I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank Sandy Bloniarz for suggesting this cool name to us (although I’m using a slightly different spelling than Sandy suggested for copyright purposes.) I’d also like to acknowledge the following individuals who also sent us suggestions that we considered very seriously…. Christine Smith, Alma Lou Annab & Mae Cadwell! Thank you for your help, because I ALWAYS need help choosing our bag names!

    And now, it’s YOUR turn!

If you have comments you’d like to share or questions you’d like to ask about this design in general, this sample in specific, or the name we’ve chosen, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
