PPC15: Testing Results

Well… we must be in the homestretch now!

Because it’s that time again! It’s time to show you what our testers created in the process of testing our pattern instructions! Many of you know that one of my favorite parts of the pattern development process is the testing round. I just LOVE seeing what our testers are inspired to create, especially since each one of our testers has their own individual style and several have a real flair for the dramatic!

So…

Let’s see what our testers whipped up for this, our 15th cycle of Purse Pattern Chronicles!

This patriotic special was created by Shannon Maciejewski of Almont, MI who has been testing for us since the 9th cycle of Purse Pattern Chronicles when we released the Wrapsody in 2014.  I bet she had fun carrying this cutie earlier this month on the 4th of July,no?

Shannon used a fun combination of fabric as well as our red ministriped zippers to give her bag some extra pizzazz!

Next up, is the sample by Lori Gates of West Henrietta, NY

Lori’s been testing for us since the Fall of 2008 when we released the Boho Baguette, which was actually PRIOR to the 1st edition of Purse Pattern Chronicles! WOW! And if you look closely at the fabric Lori used, you might notice that it’s actual a very subtle “Disney ” print.

Lori is a self-proclaimed Disney nut and she plans on carrying this beauty while at she visits the parks in July. I also like that Lori used our polka dot zips on this bag. They really add to the overall whimsy of this bag, right?

And last but not least, here’s the sample that Mary Larson of Buffalo, MN created for this round of Purse Pattern Chronicles!

And isn’t it elegant? Mary’s been testing with us since since the Triple Play was released in the 11th cycle of Purse Pattern Chronicles in 2015.

Mary used a brocade-like fabrication for her bag and it gave it an especially elegant feel!

So that’s how the testing rounds played out for this cycle of Purse Pattern Chronicles and aren’t these bags fantastic? Our testers really outdid themselves this time and I couldn’t be happier with their work!

And now it’s YOUR turn!

Our testers perform a great service for us (and in turn for YOU) in the process of making their test bags. I can’t imagine publishing a new pattern without their input, and if you’d like to leave them some love in the “Comments” section” below I’m sure they’d appreciate it. And if you have any questions about the testing process in general or this new design in particular, I’ll do my best to answer them!
