One of things I love best about designing patterns is seeing the incredible bags our customers create using our patterns! As a matter of fact, there’s not much I like better than opening up an email that includes a picture or two of a customer-made bag! And here’s the deal, this month’s selection of bags are ESPECIALLY well made and I think you’re really going to enjoy them!

So…let me show you!

This is Michelle Hale‘s 2nd Sling Along of several she has made lately and it would be very difficult for me to pick my favorite!
So where’s the best place on this earth to pick up some “alien” fabric?
Virginia Compton tells that she got this fabric in Roswell, NM
and I think it looks totally smashing on this Guardian!
And isn’t this a FUN Gemini FlightBag? I love the fabrications that Kate Adams chose and she says up next for her will be an ErgoMatic!
Now here’s a Sling Along that fun to look at, right? Nancy Anderson says that its
her 2nd such bag and even though its not perfect, she LOVES it!
Charlene Samanich says that she loves her new Katalina (at far right), and that after making it
, she couldn’t help but create a coordinating Walkabout Wallet (at left) to go with it.
She also commented that she likes the new method we used to place the “Welts” in the Katalina design.
And here’s Nancy Rosa with yet another Sling Along with convertible backpack straps.
This particular bag was made to order with gorgeous Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
And its been sometime since we’ve heard from one of favorite man sewers, the incomparable Don Distler, but look at the AMAZING Everyday Attache he created. He says he sourced all this fabric from a customer’s beautiful stash, but isn’t his workmanship a thing to behold and isn’t his multi-colored interior to die for?
Virginia Compton says that this Bella BiFold went together so easy and so fast!
She thinks she’s gonna love it and can you guess where she’s taking this bag after the International Quilt Festival?
And here’s Jayne Griffith‘s Go-Go Compact. Jayne says she’s going to LOVE this bag for traveling
and judging by the exterior fabric, everyone will know that Jayne hails from Canada! 🙂
And since we started this post with an exceptional Sling Along by Michelle Hale, I think it’s only fitting
that we finish the post with an equally awesome Sling Along by Michelle! Great job Michelle, keep up the good work!
