PPC34: Antique Machines

So... here's our latest incarnation for our new pattern design! Turns out- I've had this fabric for quite some time, & just recently realized that it's got near perfect dimensions for this new design! 🙂

I'll tell you more about it at the end of this post, but for now, let me tell you about this sample!

Here's our AI-girl modeling this sample and I'm pretty happy with this sample! I would call this a medium sized bag to begin with. There's a zippered exterior pocket on the Bag Front, and a slip pocket on the Bag Back (with a magnetized closure).

And I think that my favorite part of this design is how the wrap-around zipper frames the Bag Front. It gives this Bag Front a really fun & distinctive look I think!

And the fun part is that when the zipper is unzipped, it reveals a whole 'nother level of interior storage! After all... how many times have you been on vacation, or at an all-day shopping venue and wished you had brought a bigger bag with you?

Now all you need do is unzip that cool zipper to instantly gain up to 50% more storage space!

Here's a better shot of now much extra storage space you gain in this expandable area! And for this sample, I added an extra layer of fortification in this area so it could be securely handle any extra items added.

Here at left:  a good look at the Bag Back with the slip-in magnetized pocket... a great place to stow that smart phone for easy access.

and at right: a peek at the Bag Interior revealing a very large and roomy zippered pocket... a perfect place to hide the key fob for your car, or anything else you need to store with total security!

And finally, here's the low-down on this fun fabric!

The main fabric used for the exterior is called "A Stitch in Time" by Elizabeth's Studio.

I've had it for quite sometime & thought it might be one of those items in my stash that would never get used, but it worked out great for this design!

And now.... it's YOUR turn!

What you think of this design so far? Does this bag seem like one you might enjoy carrying?
