PPC32: Butterfly Fields Forever

So…

I needed to make another Carolinian sample after the pattern was officially released on March 10, 2025. because I just wasn’t happy with a few of the step photos I had taken for the pdf tutorials.

And the only way to take new photographs is to make a new bag in order to take those new photographs! So here goes!

So here’s a couple of terrific photographs of the Bag Back, which features a zippered pocket.

And here’s a couple of sometimes hard-to-get overhead shots of this Bag. These outside two shots show the zippered entry in the closed position, and the center shot gives you a pretty good look at how the bag interior looks. 🙂

So now I can finish those pdf Tutorials for the website, but over & beyond that, I’m glad I made this sample. I love the bright colors and it has an overall “happy” feel to it. I think it’ll give our customers another way to think about this design.

I really liked working with this fabric from Free Spirit Designs. As you can see, it has an hombre feel, its called “Butterfly Fields” & was created by Sue Penn Designs.

And now…. it’s YOUR turn!

I’d love to know what you think of this design thus far. Does this bag seem like one you might enjoy carrying? And if you have comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about this design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
