PPC31: Color & Light

So… here is the last sample we’re going to make and present to you
prior to choosing our cover model and subsequently sending the new pattern
to the printer for eventual release.

But you know what? The WHOLE time I was making this bag I was thinking… ” What made me EVER choose this fabric combo???”… but here’s the deal, I’m thinking the pictures of this bag actually look pretty darned GOOD! It’s funny how some bags take GREAT pictures and some that should… just DON”T!

And here’s a series of pictures highlighting the large front Pouch area, which is purrfect for your cell phone, or anything else you want to have quick access to. And how about how great our NEW rainbow tweed zippers looks with this fabric????

This series of pictures illustrates the THREE different ways this bag can be worn… as a shoulder bag (at left), as a one-armed sling bag (at center) and as a true backpack (at right).

So here’s a couple of closing shots. At left if a full-on frontal view and I have to say, the fussy-cutting for this project was simply “easy-schmeasy”! And at right is an interior shot, and even though the interior of this bag is really not so easy to photograph, I think you can see in this shot that this bag can easily accommodate my full-sized wallet (placed inside “on end”) and also a full-sized glasses case with PLENTY of room to spare!

Both of these fabrics are part of the “Color & Light collection by Anna Nyman for Benartex Fabrics .

This fabric combination is available on our Fabrics page. Just click HERE to check it out or to pick up a package (1/2 yard of each fabric) for YOUR next project.

And now, it’s YOUR turn!

I have to tell you that we’re pretty much at the end of the line here. This will be the last sample I’ll be making in the runup to the pattern release of the High Seas Convertible, which just means ONE THING…

It’s time to choose our pattern cover sample!

And we just LOVE it when YOU help us make this all-important decision! So do stay tuned for our next post in this series (on Tuesday, 7/23/24), when you’ll get the opportunity to let us know which of the samples we’ve created for this design should be the one that graces out pattern cover! It’s literally has been one of my all-time favorite posts of the year so I’m hoping you’ll help us out!

And as always, if you have comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about this design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
