PPC31: Wings of Gold

So…

as a dedicated user of “all things black”, its been a while since I’ve featured royal blue in one of our samples… but when I saw this new collections by one of favorite fabric designers, Chong A-Hwang, it really captured my imagination… in a GOOD way!

And I have to say this fabric was truly a joy to work with. The clear contrast is gorgeous and totally accents the swirling gold print. I’ll give you more information about these two amazing prints at the end of this post, but in the meantime, let me give you a quick tour of this sample!

Here’s a closeup look at the side D-ring attachments, which are used
when one wants to carry the High Seas Convertible as a shoulder bag!

The High Seas Convertible features a full-length, drop-in pouch pocket, which is perfect
for storing your cell phone, or anything else you’ll need quick access to!

Here’s a couple views of the Bag Back, featuring a zippered exterior pocket, and a view of the unzippered main storage compartment, which is roomy enough for all of your everyday items as well as a small fold-up umbrella, or a Kindle!

And finally, the main selling point of this design is how easily and QUICKLY this bag can be converted from a shoulder bag, to a sling bag, to a backpack and vice versa (it does require an extra strap however to convert this bag to a backpack).

This fabric is called “Wings of Gold“, and it’s by Chong A-Hwang for Timeless Treasures. We are packaging both of these beautiful fabrics in a kit with 1/2 yard of each. Just click HERE to check it the details or to pick up a package for YOUR next project.
