So… If you’ve read our Show Reviews in the past, then you probably know that my absolute favorites are generally the “Art Quilts” but that sure doesn’t mean that I don’t have an appreciation for those in the “Traditional” category!
And here’s the deal… for some reason, it seems that the majority of my favorite quilts at this year’s MAQF would definitely be characterized as being more in the traditional category that in the art category. Whatever the reason, here are my “MAQF Faves”!

And since this was the 35th Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, they were quite proud to being back the Fashion Runway Show for the 1st time since Covid… and I must say, the star of the show was this amazing and risque entry… “The Eyes of St. Lucia” by Marty Ornish of La Mesa, CA!
Wouldn’t we all like to have
the body that could pull this look off? 🙂
