PPC32: Dragonfly Dream

So…

just when I thought I had used the most beautiful fabric EVER in the last sample I created, along came this “close relative”, that’s pretty incredible as well!

I’ll tell you more about this fabric at the end of this post, but in the meantime, let me give you the “dog & pony show” around this sample!

Here’s a couple shots of this Bag Front which gives you a Sneek Peek at the recessed zipper entrance to the main storage compartment, as well as a good look at the ROOMY drop-in Front Pouch area which is secured by an invisible sew-in magnetic snap Closure!

And here’s a couple of good looks at the Bag Back area a very generously sized zippered exterior pocket, which is perfect for storing sensitive items you might need quick access to… like your key fob, a passport, or a lipstick!

And in this trio, you get a really good idea about how the recessed zipper works! As mentioned in my last post in this series, I’m FINALLY completely happy with the sizing and fit of this Zipper Panel. I really doubt ANYTHING will be able to fall out of this bag due to the complete coverage that this zippered area provides!

And here’s more important information about this bag!

  • Size/Proportions– 12″ X 4″ X 8″ tall (interior dimensions)
  • We’ve FINALLY settled on a name for this design. (I know I’ve said this before, but I’m absolutely serious when I say that naming our patterns is the hardest task of all in this process, & I’m so relieved to finally be able to announce the name for this bag!) We’re going to call it….

the “Carolinian”

And finally, let’s talk about these two totally fabulous fabrics, which are literally some of the most beautiful that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Just like our last sample, they are both also from the Nature Collection from Timeless Treasures and the main dragon-flied fabric is called “DragonFly Dream“. And we’re now are selling them together in a package which includes 1/2 yard of each. Click HERE to see them on our Fabric Page.

And now…. it’s YOUR turn!

I’d love to know what your thoughts about this design & the name we chose for it? And does this bag seem like one you might enjoy carrying? And if you have comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about this design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
