So…
you might think it’s a little bit weird that the opening photograph for our MAQF ’24 Recap post is NOT the exterior of our booth, but instead… its the interior of our booth!
And that’s because there really hasn’t been a REAL change to the EXTERIOR of our booth in over two years (except for particular samples or zippers changing places). The tables have stayed the same… and the grid walls have stayed the same.
But on the INTERIOR of the booth, it seems like we’ve made some big table shifts for every… single… one… of these shows… and this show was certainly no exception! And what I liked about this arrangement of tables is that they fit together well with a very little need for the use of “table levelers” underneath the table legs… and that’s a pretty big deal for us. It was a bit of a tight squeeze back there for us but it worked. I’m thinking that maybe next time I’ll throw some purple fabric on those back tables for a little more continuity? I don’t know why I haven’t done that before? What do YOU think? 🙂
So with that… here’s our exterior booth look for MAQF ’24, which you’ll of course notice immediately, is totally similar to many of our last few shows!
Overall, this year’s MAQF was a very good show. For us, and for most people I asked, it was “a little under” last year. Maybe that was because QuiltCon’24 was in Raleigh, NC (just down the road) the week before? Who knows… but the 35th edition of MAQF was definitely worth checking out!
Next up for us… AQS Paducah! Will we see YOU there?
And now, it’s YOUR turn!
Have you ever attended the MAQF Show, or any other Quilt Show? And if so… which of them was your favorite show and why??? And if you have comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about the MAQF ’24 Quilt Show in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
