One of things I love best about designing patterns is seeing the incredible bags our customers create using our patterns! As a matter of fact, there’s not much I like better than opening up an email that includes a picture or two of a customer-made bag! And here’s the deal, this month’s selection of bags are ESPECIALLY well made and I think you’re really going to enjoy them!
So…let me show you!
Michelle Hale says that this beautifully “butterflied” Sling Along is the 1st of several she’s made, declaring that she LOVES this bag! And since Liz Flynn is a DisneyWorld pass holder she felt it was time to up her “bag game” with a new HipBag Hybrid, and isn’t it delightful? Liz says she loves this design even though it was challenging! Here’s a really great example of our Baggalista pattern which is now retired and completely out of stock. It was created by Karen Blakeman (#myjollylife) and it’s totally perfect for a traveler. I’m strongly considering republishing some of my retired/out of stock patterns as pdf downloads… if I ever get time to figure out how to “tile” my larger template sheets! Renee Claude Pageau says this is the 3rd Sling Along she’s created and this time she chose a Mandelorian theme for her bag which was completed at a recent quilt retreat! I love it!
Kris Hicks says that the Gadabout design is “perfect for an everyday bag”! She added that her bag “got a little crinkled” in the last few steps but that it came out nicely! The Gadabout is now one of our retired patterns and can be purchased at half-price HERE!
And this is the 2nd of several Sling Along‘s that Michelle Hale has made, many of which she has shared with us for our monthly Eye Candy posts! I always enjoy seeing what Michelle creates as I enjoy the dramatic exteriors she works with!Gwen Walker declares that she is “ready for the fair” with this OutBreaker! Gwen embroidered the front panel prior to putting this bag together and used a marine vinyl for all of the contrasting pieces! Good luck Gwen! I hope you win!Judy Fallon‘s Bella BiFold seems a little familiar to me as she made use of the “She Who Sews” fabric line by J Wecker Fritsch just as we did and who can blame her? This fabric is amazing
And finally, here’s Brandt Brandt‘s Sling Along that is probably turning heads everytime she goes to a Cincinnati Reds home game, right? Brandt says she enjoyed making this bag and is excited to make a few more! 🙂
And now, it’s YOUR turn!
