PPC33: Happy-Go-Lucky

A yellow purse with flowers and stripes on it.

So… if you’re thinking that you’ve seen this fabric before on one of our samples…

You’d be RIGHT!

we actually first used it in the process of creating the Double Take pattern, way back in Purse Pattern Chronicles 28. I liked it a lot then, but I almost think that I like it MORE NOW! The main reason… this is such a vertical print, which just seems to work more favorably with a vertical bag design, which the Cignet Phone Pal definitely is!

(I’ll show you the two versions at the end of this post and then maybe YOU can tell me which presentation YOU favor?)

I especially wanted to show you a really good side view of this bag this time, because that’s what can give you the best proof that this little bag is a good deal more than just a smart phone holder. Because I can easily store my everyday wallet inside with plenty of room to also place my key fob and a lipstick (or other small incidentals).

And here’s another head-on look at the Bag Front (at left) and a 1st look at the Bag Back (at right), which is such a convenient place to store a passport, boarding passes, tickets of any kind or a small notebook!

And as promised… here’s YOUR chance to let me know
which look showed off this amazing fabric the best…
(at left on the Double Take design), or (at right on the Cignet Phone Pal).

Other info you might want to know…

The Cignet Phone Pal dimensions are- 6″ wide X 9″ tall X 1.5″
and we’re very much looking forward to a mid-late July pattern release!

And now…. it’s YOUR turn!

First off, I’d like to know which of our bag designs you think best showed off the “Happy-Go-Lucky” fabric, (the Double Take or the Cignet Phone Pal) and then I’d love to know if this bag seem like one you might enjoy carrying? And if you have other comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about the Cignet Phone Pal design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
