MORE Invisible Sew-in Magnetic Snap Advice!

So... I ALWAYS recommend that our invisible sew-in magnetics snaps be sewn magnetic side UP onto whatever substrate you're using (whether its foam stabilizer or fusible interfacing etc.), so that none of the stitching is visible on the outside of your bag!

But that's not the ONLY reason... because here's what happens when you sew your magnet in place with the magnetic side facing down... It CLAMPS almost rock solid to your metal machine bed, making it almost impossible to move!

But every so often, (as is the case in our new Expand-o-Matic pattern), it actually is necessary to sew the magnet in place with the magnetic-side facing down, (to avoid the stitching being visible on the bag exterior).

But wait! What about that clamping-down thing?

As it turns out! Here's a totally unique  & effective way to keep this magnet from clamping to the machine bed when it's installed magnetic side down!

It involves using one of those free,
promotional, refrigerator magnets!
