PPC34: Affinity
So... I have one last sample to show you before its time to choose ONE to be represent all of them on the pattern cover. That'll be the next post in this series that we share with you... coming up soon, right after the holidays, but in the meantime, let me give you the low-down on this sample!
Here's a good look at the front side of this new design.
I fell in love with the totally saturated color of this fabric & I couldn't imagine using any other zipper than our black & white striped zips... the perfect neutral for almost every print imaginable!
These shots are of the Bag Back area, which features a drop-pocket secured with a magnetic snap. I opted for a black & white striped contrast strip for this area to somewhat mimic the zippers I'm using and I really like this look!
And of course here's the feature that this design will be known for, and that's the expandable are revealed by just unzipping the wraparound zipper! This is a really fun feature that provides additional storage at a moment's notice and with a "flip of a zip"!
And this is the primary reason that we have decided on naming this new design as...
the Expand-o-Matic
And finally--- here's some important info you might be wondering about, such as...
Bag Dimensions--- 9"h X 10.5"w X 1.25" closed or 3.5" expanded
Expected Release Date- mid January 2026

Looking foward to this pattern and I think I’ll be sticking to the hard copy version, just because I think the quality of the paper you use for the pattern is a better thickness than what I use in my printers.
Now, to find a nice thin but functional wallet to go with this purse 🙂
