Int. Quilt Market ’25: My Favorite Booths
Years ago, I used to love to walk up & down all the rows of boothes, just loving the visual beauty of the floor. But ever since Covid, the large booth exhibits at Quilt Market have been greatly diminished! Not only were the displays smaller, but they were also much more basic & minimalistic.
But THIS year, I sensed a bit of a flashback to the golden years of yore! The Moda island of boothes above was my favorite. This whole area was like a total fantsyland! SO beautiful! They were celebrating 50 years in the business, which is amazing in & of itself, right?
This is the booth for "Sew Kind of Wonderful". I loved the color and especially the quilt samples on the walls, not to mention the celebratory stars. I definitely would have stopped in this booth for more information, if only to rest for few moments in those soft cushy chairs!
I really liked Anna Maria's booth! It was colorful, busy & simply interesting. I found the wall hangings especially interesting.
This is the Olive Grace Studios booth which was located diagonally across from mine, two rows over. I was intrigued by the variety of products (mostly fabrics), she had in her booth!
Here's the Windham Fabrics booth which had such compelling quilts on the walls. look at that color, check out the variety! It was mesmerizing!
And finally, here's Gammill Sewing Machine booth, which is honestly the most compelling machine booth I've ever seen! Normally, the machine folks dont even really TRY to fix their booth in an interesting way, but I LOVE how Gammill's is done all in black & gray. It just seemed to stand out like an oasis in all of that color on the display floor! Great job, Gammill!
And now.... it's YOUR turn!
Which one of these booths caught your eye? And which one would have made you want to know more?

I like the idea of having chairs. Not sure it they meant for customers to sit or it was strictly a decoration.
Well Market is SO different than Festival. Windham is a fabric house so they often set up appointments with store owners so they can show them samples of their new fabrics and take orders. This set up would never work at Festival, but the one on one atmosphere at Market is very conducive to sales. And decorating their boothes with their new fabrics shows customers how appealing the new fabrcis can be, or so they hope. 🙂
I’m intrigued by the puffy quilt hanging on the back of the chair in the Windham booth
That’s called a “puff” quilt. They were really popular several years ago. Each of those individual puffs are stuffed with fabrcis of some sort to create that puffed appearance. 🙂
