So…
in our last TWO posts which you can see HERE & HERE, I shared my take on how I re-fabricated this terrific Poppy fabric by Chong-A Hwang so that it could “work” for our new bag design, our Cignet Phone Pal pattern.
You might recall that I did in fact fussy-cut the fabric for this Phone Pouch area so that the striped area of this panel print would NOT be visible from from a frontal view, and this was an obvious success. YAY!
(Believe me, they aren’t ALL successes?)

And here’s a good Bag Front view, along with decent looks at the side edges of this bag… which if you remember from our last post, was the area that cause ALL of those construction problems! This area has more than enough room for ANY smart phone currently on the market, and it’ll be safely stored & secured by a magnetic snap closure.

And what you see here is the Bag Back, which you might remember, also had to be “re-fabricated”, just like the Bag Front.
This is the perfect spot to store that passport, boarding pass, theatre tickets or any other important paper work you might need to keep track of!

And here’s a good look at the main compartment of this bag which has a surprisingly room interior, and what you see inside is my wallet, (which is quite wide, & of standard length), and there is obviously room enough left over for a standard key fob for a car and other small everyday items.

The total dimensions of this bag is 6″ wide X 9″ tall X 1.5″. This pattern is currently in the hands of our amazing pattern testers & we’re aiming for a mid-late July pattern release.
And now…. it’s YOUR turn!
I’d love to know what you think of this design thus far. Does this bag seem like one you might enjoy carrying? And if you have comments you’d like to share, suggestions you’d like to make, or questions you’d like to ask about this design in general or this sample in specific, please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
