So… I don’t think I’ve ever hidden the fact that the AQS Paducah show has always been my favorite!
There is absolutely no other place that welcomes us the way the good folks in Paducah do! They literally roll out the red carpet (and the red jackets!) for us!
and just to prove my point…
Check out the video below to see the fantastic way they kick off the show every year? What other show turn out a PARADE complete with a high school band to around the exhibit hall to welcome us?

So… how did this year’s show go?
I gotta be honest… I was pretty apprehensive about how this show would go, because Kentucky’s had some really bad weather incidents (the Ohio River is sky high, YIKES!).
And then there’s the crazy stock market, the ups & downs of everyone’s retirement accounts, and who knows what to think about those tariffs?

But you know what? I’m so pleased to tell you that I was totally WRONG! Turns out that this show was on an even keel with the shows from the last two years!
What a relief!
Because I would’ve hated if this show was our last, and it was a bad show!
I loved seeing all the great bags our customers made from our patterns and brought to our booth especially to show them to us!
And it was fun catching up with so many fellow vendors that we’ve come to love as friends after so many years!

And… Paducah always has some great food options! It’s the one place we go where I don’t feel hungry the whole time!
We enjoyed a totally yummy dinner with some very special friends at our absolute favorite place to eat while in Paducah, and that would be …
Doe’s Eat Place

And here’s the deal…because of my husband’s precarious health situation, any of these shows could turn out to be our last, so I sure am glad we got to come back here. Will we get to come back next year? Only time will tell.
But as I close this post with a picture of a beautiful sunset over the Vendor’s parking lot, I’ll share one last thing! We heard this song on XM radio coming out of Nashville on the way home & have found ourselves chuckling about it ever since. {FULL DISCLOSURE}It’s a little risque, but totally cute. Click HERE to listen to it!
