So… as you might expect, the competition among the quilt entries at AQS Paducah is TOUGH! To even have a quilt accepted to be shown at this prestigious show is quite something! But having said that, I really enjoyed walking among these outstanding beauties. They were a lot of fun to see, and it was a hard choice, but below you will find “My Favorite Seven”! So here they are, in NO particular order of preference except for the LAST entry, (which is quite possibly one of my favorites of all time!)

“Poppie Highland Coo” by Debbie Shannon of Statesboro, GA

“Supraspinatus’s Swan Song” by Margaret E Solomon Gunn of Gotham, ME

“Royal Treasure” by Marilyn Badger of St George, UT

“Floiferous” by Luz Adriana Seidensticker of Bethel Park, PA

“The 95” by Vicki Ruebel of Las Vegas, NV

“Waves of Light” by Akemi Umeda of Aichi, Japan

“Taiwan’s Patron Saint-Dragon” by Yu-Chen Liang of Tauyuan City, Taiwan
