the August’24 Eye Candy Showcase

You know what?

As you probably know… we post several times each month on this site, but there’s no other post I enjoy more than our monthly “Eye Candy Showcase! What fun it is seeing how our customers tailor our patterns to reflect their own fashion sensibility!

This month we have eight fabulous bags to show you, so what are we waiting for…

Let’s Get Started!

Doris Gregory made this Sling Along in the same fabric that we sued to created out cover sample. She says that
she’s had this fabric in her stash for years & bought the pattern when she saw it on the pattern cover. Beautiful job, Doris!

Monica Perkins has been making quite a lot of Odyssey‘s of late! She’s included some pretty amazing embroidery on each and every one of them and obviously the embroidery on this particular sample is no exception. It’s gorgeous!

Mea Caldwell is back, and this time with an excellently crafted Go-Go Compact! She says that she loves it
and that its going to be a “handy lil” bag to carry when she’s out and about!

And Sally Susinno created an “out of this world” Walkabout Wallet
and says that her wallet is EXACTLY what she wanted!

And the incomparable Don Distler is back, this time having created a sample from our most recent new pattern, the Tandem DayPack! I love the fabric Don chose and I’m wondering if he has personal affection for chickens? Maybe he’ll let us know?

Mary Larson is one of our regular pattern testers, and here’s a Side Slinger she created!
She said she loves how it hugs her body w/o being bulky at all
and how you can wear it under a sweater or a jacket without looking
like a “marshmallow man”!

This cute little Go-Go Compact was created by Nancy Hadley. She said she loves this design, calling it complex but well-explained, calling it perfect for events where she wants to be handsfree! I love how our polka-dotted zippers work beautifully with the fabric she chose! Great job Nancy!

And how adorable is this Walkabout Wallet created by Karen Strandby, who said
she needed a new bag and this one fits the bill! And I LOVE the “pop of pink” lining she used!

And now, it’s YOUR turn!

Which one of these beauties caught your eye initially? And which one made you want to know more? And remember, we love reading your comments and answering your questions too, so please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.
