This is always one of my favorite times of the month… getting to show off some of the bags our brilliant customers have made with our patterns! And this month is certainly no exception!
So what ‘cha say? Let’s get started!
I saw Diane Faue at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival and she told me she had our Tandem DayPeck in progress and here it is! Diane used cork for her creation as well as our brand new rainbow zippers!
And Mary Collett loved our HipBag Hybrid design that she made many years ago so much, that she was thrilled to see our Double Take published last Fall! She said that with our patterns, she knows that she just needs to take it one step at a time& her bag will turn out well. I am CRAZY about this bag! The “zippered” fabric is mesmerizing, and the contrasts Mary chose are fabulous! This is Rachel Marak‘s 1st attempt at our Sling Along design and she says that she LOVES how it turned out! I love how the floral exterior pairs so well with what looks like a soft-textured green contrast! This is a beautiful bag!
Monica Perkins modified her Go-Go Compact to be 1″ wider and she also added an additional zippered pocket to the interior. Good job on this Monica but what i like best about her creation is the surprise colorful interior she added. It must make her smile everytime she opens this bag! And Kayleigh Mossup is excited to have finished her Bangle Buddie! She bought the pattern from last Fall at the International Quilt Festival & I encouraged her to wear it to this Fall’s Festival in Houston, because if she does, she’ll get 10% off her entire show purchase at our booth!
Sue Evans just finished her Gateway and calls it to be truly a compact wonder. She loves that it can be worn 3 different ways, as a belt bag, a shoulder bag AND as a cross-body bag! And as a confirmed Laurel Burch fan… her fussy cutting is also a wonder! 🙂
And now, it’s YOUR turn!
Which one of these beauties caught your eye initially? And which one made you want to know more? And remember, we love reading your comments and answering your questions too, so please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.

Wow, SEVEN different designs in a single month. SKD truly has something for everyone 🙂
I like it when there’s a wide selection to show as well! Thanks Mary! 🙂
