One of things I love best about designing patterns is to see the amazing things out customers create using our patterns! As a matter of fact, there’s not too much I like better than opening up an email that includes a picture or two of a customer-made bag! And here’s the deal, this month’s selection of bags is particularly diverse and i think you’re really going to enjoy them!
So…let me show you!
Shana Lynn made this lovely Flaptastic for her Mom with a good deal of help from our FaceBook Sewing Group. She loves how it came out (as do I) and knows that her Mom will be over the moon for it. (That’s the best part of sewing is it not?)
I bet this eye-catching little bag will attract a lot of well-deserved attention!
that she can now go “wallet-free” while still having lots of room for her other necessary items!
And this show-stopping Side Slinger belongs to Dorothy Thompson who says that she is totally delighted with the result! But I say that delighted doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about this bag! 🙂
And since we started with post with a mind-boggling creation by Barbro Wingard, what could be better than finishing it with yet another? Can this Sling Along top her 1st? I don’t know… you be the judge because she not only knitted, felted and embroidered the front pouch area in typical Swedish style, but this time she actually hand-dyed the yarn she used for the embroidery with various plants & mushrooms. I’m speechless!
And now, it’s YOUR turn!
Do you have a favorite amongst these beauties? And which one made you want to know more? And remember, we love reading your comments and answering your questions too, so please feel free to leave either or both in the space provided below.

They are all beautiful and beautifully sewn. Ms. Wingard’s gray one belongs in an art museum.
I totally agree! 🙂
These bags are all wonderful and their creators should feel very proud of the results! I do admire the skills that Barbro Wingard used to make her stunning bags!
I do too! This was an exceptional group of bags! 🙂
